She's got a point. Besides, the G1s don't look that bad compared to the G3.5s. Plus, I believe Lauren Faust said Firefly was her favorite. *Hugs Firefly* |

True. And to be honest I don't think G1 looks that bad. Of course in the 80's if you were a boy who liked MLP you were probably ostracized as being a wuss. |

Uh... yeah? That's kinda why a lot of fans are more charitable to G1, at least the original special (Firefly & AJ plus neat villains FTW). Well, I give G1 its due. Other fans should too. Even G1.5 deserves credit for introducing the concept of boys to MLP, although its quality was still pretty much crap.
G3 and G3.5 have no excuses though. |

G1 was shit, bros. Deal with it.
HOWEVER... The prototype MLP, aka Rescue from Midnight Castle was very good, and things would have been very different if the G1 TV series had followed it's lead instead of changing everything. |

G1's nothing. The true horror lies with the fact that the G4 body type is clearly based on G3.5. It's like finding out a bunny evolved from one of those deep sea abomination fish. |

It's so true. My Little Pony was Hasbro giving the girls something to play with while the boys had transformers. They might not have aged well but they had their moments.
Seems now the films by bay make transformers look bad while FIM makes the G4 ponies look good in comparison. I've heard good things about the transformers prime cartoon but I'll be the judge once I've seen that. |
