I'm surprised how far removed I feel to this depiction of bronies compared to the ones I know and love on here and elsewhere.

gawker's a rag and Chen's the worst of the lot. He writes smear pieces because he's paid to drum up traffic, most of which comes from the smeared themselves. Basically, ignore this garbage. |

I did my few bits trying to be reasonable about it.
Best way we can represent ourselves is to show we are not some rabid group. Even through the Derpygate, I'm actually surprised the fandom handle it cooly as it did, barring a few embarrassing gaffes from trolls or /b/ronies. Best we can do is put the best foot/hoof forward and be classy as we can be about it. And yes, it's tough when it's something heinous like Gawker. |

No I'm not. A few imagebombing for a few days and most of the chatter calming down after a day isn't what I call a firestorm.
Sure, nobody is forgetting this anytime soon. Everybody is a bit tense about it in the fandom no doubt. But it's not a total raging fandom war in any sense. Most people just seems to want to just get into the next Fluttershy episode to me. |
