While I'm iffy about a new Alicorn in the show, I'm quite willing to give Cadence a chance. Her name is really quite odd, though. Most ponies have names related to their talents...so is Cadence able to, like, make really good music? Is she in charge of leading the Equestrian Guard in marching?
Who knows, she may end up being a good character. Hopefully. I think the continuous posting of Cadence macros is a poor attempt a pre-trolling, however. |

Maybe her "dark secret" is her age, nearly as old as Luna and Celestia and with enough backstory to justify being an Alicorn at all, then we have Shining Armor saying that he loves her anyway and won't let it separate then, cue to millions of bronies all over the world on collective "D'awwww".
