Umm. NO! One Piece is REALLY good. It doesn't take itself seriously like Bleach and Naruto, and has good story and character development. However, whoever has been posting these shitty photoshops with either One Piece or Transformers needs to stop, and actually take the effort to draw something. Then maybe, people will actually like these crossovers. |

I like One Piece, but the problem is that it DOES take itself seriously a whole lot of the time. It tries to evolve itself continuously, which is good, but the problem is that most of the characters, with exceptions like Zoro and a few others, simply aren't designed for seriousness, making it a lot worse then Bleach, which has people specifically designed for serious situations.
Another problem is that Bleach and Naruto pace themselves with good stories, but One Piece just has an enormous amount of continuity, some of which you might find inane and boring or insulting to your intelligence. Bleach has the most core anime feel to it without ever feeling like the characters are annoying or two-dimensional, but the one thing it suffers from is character overload. Nearly everyone is important and everyone needs the spotlight. It both works in its favor and works against it, since nearly everyone will have at least 10 favorite characters, maybe more. The creator simply created WAY too many badasses. Naruto is somewhere down the middle. Nearly all it's three or four main characters are almost as worse written as Luffy, but its side characters 'sort of' make up for that fact. It's got an impressive plot, but its still weighed down by dues ex machina eyes and the fact that some of the more annoying plot points you'll hear over and over and over. Seriously, this anime is NOT about ninjas as the main focus. The theme is magic dues ex machina eyes, and 3 magic monsters. Here's a drinking game. Take a shot every time you here someone bitches about Sasuke. Congratulations, you've died of alcohol poisoning....AT LEAST A HUNDRED TIMES OVER!!! Naruto the anime will also insult your intelligence WAY more then Bleach ever will. Three words: Talking Ostrich Ninja. |

As much as I hate slapped together photoshopped cross-overs, i hate when folks don't learn about using filters and bitch what should be posted or not on particularly what shows that show be crossed over or not.
The Molestia/Tony Tony Chopper 4-panel while photoshopped had at least some thought placed in, effort, subject matter, dialogue and a joke. This repeated shopped work is something slapped together, has no humor or plot, shows no indication of the characters of both shows interacting with each other to display and showcase each unique personality and is an insult to both artists and fans of both shows... I choose not to get on the subject of which is a better show, artwork or the like, I have a great amount of respect to both Lauren Faust and Eiichiro Oda on their creative designs, hard work and love for their craft. I have learn to skip over poorly crafted shopped images that say nothing about the character interaction. Twilight Sparkle & Nico Robin pic = cool; Luffy as a pony by several artists = cool, having one animal on the the Strawhat crew having actual rapport with characters that's as kind hearted and naive like him = most excellent.
Fandoms do mess up the shows alot some Bronies can fuck up the views of outsiders while that are some creative video artists that bring alot to the table just like the Obe Piece fan base. Haters are just gonna hate. But really I just critic the bad and poorly shopped work rather than get into a diatribe of how a show sucks. Raises the question, "if you hate the show [insert least favorite show] why the fuck out of the thousands of other pics here and can search under, are you commenting on them?" Haters learn filters please. |
