Man, I wish I could paint like the ld masters...
Did you know it's not just you: it actually IS a little 3D? Paint then is colored particles, like red ocre, suspended in an oil substrate; you have to let it dry before you put the next layer on. The effect is that highlights and foreground objects are actually a millimeter or so closer to you, and the oil could be used to make atmospheric distortion and lighting effects. |
