Her new voice was fine. Her not being named was fine.
Having her identity erased by correcting the animation error that birthed her is a fucking hate crime. At least she'll be keeping the eyes in the future. Ugh. |

Her new voice was somewhat passable, but not very good. Rainbow Dash's voice getting fucked up was a travesty. Her name being erased was bullshit. The eye thing is a massive insult, especially since they completely fucked that up too. Nobody actually wanted to do this edit, and forcing it was an incredibly bad decision. |

The voice wasn't terrible for a background pony, and it's of less concern to me than the name and eyes, but it did sound rather generic to me. When I first heard the original Derpy voice, I was a bit apprehensive, but it's grown on me. |

My problem with the new voice is it changes her tone from 'possibly disabled' to 'stereotypical dumb blonde' to me at least. At least the former makes her more unique (and more lovable in my eyes). |

My bro actually liked Derpy's new voice. I myself don't mind it, I'm at 50/50 with either voice (a.k.a. both are good for me)

staff member's saying she will keep the eye's (but downplay the name) but the staff did not name her brony did and that's were it will remain. so relax we know she drepy :) |

I liked the new voice better than the weirdly slurred one from before.
But that's not the point. The point is that she had her name removed, thus turning her back into a nameless character. Possibly hinting to a removal form future projects. |

I actually didn't hate the replacement vice either, it actually reminded me of that fan voice actress there but my gripe is the reanimated eyes to make them less Derp and the removal of the Derpy name by Hasbro. That was bullshit and lame. Hell, they should have just left her alone and in the future just changed her voice a little if they didn't like it. |

Derpy was so full of spirit and Dash full of frustration but now the delivery of both is flat and unenthusiastic.
The original was two ponies talking. The edit is two voice actors reading. |

Hasbro already confirmed that the edits are iTunes exclusive. All broadcasts and DVDs will leave Derpy as herself. They didn't have jackshit to do with this fiasco. But other than that, I'm with you. |

I enjoyed her new voice, despite the acting not being as great as Tabitha's (especiaaly the "Oops, my bad part". That was terrible)
Her name being ommited and her eyes being uncrossed were the things that made me upset. |
