I was originally going to have Rainbow Dash with Warhammer 40k and Rarity with Exalted, until I realized that Exalted is a perfect fit for Rainbow Dash, and that Rarity would probably spend most of her time with the game painting the miniatures. Sure, she plays the game every once in a while, but for her it's making the army look good that attracts her to it. I chose D&D 3rd edition for Twilight Sparkle because, well, partially 'cause that's the edition I play, and also I figure she would love the edition that has such absurd amounts of splatbooks. |

Rarity would probably also play Eldar/High Elves, rather than, say, Chaos, or the Orks.
I also considered giving Celestia Paranoia, but figured I'd go with the joke choice instead. If you, in your head-canon, decide to go with that choice, you might want to give Pinkie Toon or something like that. (Though I imagine Pinkie would play Paranoia somewhat similarly. And, honestly, I just like imagining her asking the players "Are you a mutant commie traitor?") |
