Does anybody have a link or evidence that Derpy's change was done by iTunes and not Hasbro?
Because I find it difficult to believe that Apple would change her, since they haven't ever changed any other shows. (Not to my knowledge anyway.) |

@Draconequus: To eliminate humans who get into Equestria every time Pinkie breaks the 4th wall. At first they tried to just eliminate Pinkie but that didn't quite work out. |

Shaky, if it's not so, then why is iTunes the only place the "corrected" episode is offered, while the original is still shown on the Hub (and DVD)?

Oh well. That's that. This is this. The issue is that people kind of looked up to FiM as the one show that is doing the whole 90's style of cartoons and being insular. Apparently cartoons are still going to be bullied around by all sorts of issues and it is like the status quo BS again. I don't think anyone truly believes Derpy is dead or anything. But it doesn't change what a right mess this is. Perhaps Studio B or Hasbro forgot to properly trademark the pony's name or there's the issue of how the South Park creators pretty much created the 'derp' lingo on TV. |
