There's flesh underneath the hoof. It's like a big fingernail. The hoof isn't one giant block, it's more like thick U shape. |

That's what did happen. She was angry so she kicked a few rocks. She then wound up to give one a really hard hit, and it turned out it was just the tip of a rock embedded into the ground. Kicked hard enough to go through her horseshoe. |
