Except the author objectifies Rainbow Dash as nothing more than a cute pet, and refuses to let her have contact with anyone else. She becomes utterly physically and emotionally dependent on him.
Maybe if the fic addressed this unhealthy relationship, I'd consider it good. But it's nothing more than fucked-up wish fulfillment at the expense of an innocent minor. |

Didn't we go over this in the last My Little Dashie debate thread? The guy in the story didn't have anyone close in his life that he could share this amazing secret with, and even if he had there was a high chance that they would blab it to someone, and there would also be a high chance that something bad would happen to Dash because of that.
Also I never saw any objectifying in the story, except maybe in the beginning when the guy isn't completely sure if this was real or not. |

In fairness how do think most would react if the saw a flying blue pony. There relationship was kinda like the one Hogarth and the Iron Giant had in that movie. And fucked up Wish fulfillment comes off as a bit strong. |

Except this isn't a normal child, it's a blue pegasus with a rainbow colored mane. Treating her like a human child is a sure-fire way to get her locked up in some testing laboratory, with scientists poking needles into her to see how she flies. |

I didn´t read it, but for what I seen here, it could have a better ending if there were an epiloge, with the guy standing in front of a windows, completly disconected from reality, and a nurse is giving him medicine for schizophrenia, after his last "relapse" when he returned home. |
