So how exactly does the faggot care for himself and another animal without any human interaction for decades? Does food, clothing and TV just grow on trees?
And why do the fanboys not notice that the stories has absolutely nothing to do with Rainbow Dash? It's basically a blank OC who happens to share a name with Rainbow Dash to make the reader care about it. |

The story wasn't bad, but I think people over exaggerate it's greatness, and sadness.
I mean when you think about it, the ending is quite happy. The guy comes to terms with Rainbow's absence and becomes happy. Personally, I think we as a Brony community need to stop tearing at each other's throats. Appreciate what you want, and stay away from what you don't. |

The first page of the story had too much angsting for me to go any further, so I guess this clears up what I was missing. And it doesn't sound like much.
To its credit, I suppose it's better than the average fanfiction. And, if Rainbow Dash was ANYTHING like Rainbow Dash, it could've been good. |

Oh, come on, you guys. This story is one of the best fanfics the brony community has ever produced.
Why should it be "gay"? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. We bronies should learn accept and tolerate other opinions, just like expect others to. Is there anything wrong with the story? No, I don't think so. So there's no real reason to hate. Just accept the fact that some people like My Little Dashie, or Past Sins, or Cteno or whatever. You'll calm down a lot if you do. |

@Saufsoldat ...that's it! Thanks, I've had trouble for the longest time with putting my finger on exactly why I was so underwhelmed by that fic. I mean, apart from it being shamelessly self-insert and exploitative of a good part of the periphery demographic.
And, for some others here who used the old "live and let live" card. While this is perfectly reasonable in most cases, what aggrevates me at least about My Little Dashie is the combination of, in my opinion, substandard writing combined with emotional pandering, that is treated with such reverence and stands at the top of every reading list like holy scripture for the brony community or something. Just because everyone "had a feel". So yeah, I guess I'm saying it doesn't deserve the fame it has, and that it much more than that doesn't deserve to stand in the way of new ideas being exposed to the world. That is all. |

in my opinion, one of the biggest problems from the beginning on, were some of the exaggerated fan reactions, and the reptetive "BAWWWW WHY CAN'T I STOP BAWLING MY EYES OUT" comments that started to piss people off. Sure it was funny the first times :) But it got old really fast. Another reason might have been the Merriweather episodes, which have spoiled / ruined RD's character for so many people. She caused many bronies tos tart disliking her and she implied that RD cannot go into cuteness.
Sadly, as you can see above, some people do indeed think that RD was OOC in MLD, because, apparently Meriweather implied that RD's is nothing but a one-sided egoist jerk who can not be adorable, which is, of course, complete nonsense. But it's true, RD became unlikeable after MMDW and HWE episodes, which were both written by Merriweather. Anyway, now that MW is kicked out, Dash begins to redeem herself again, and is becoming (in my mind) the most adorable pony of all time, and it seems that most of the internet agrees with me on that, as RD is currently (I said CURRENTLY) the second most loved pony (according to 99% of all existing internet polls). The only pony being able to still outshine RD has to be Fluttershy, of course. I guess she will always be #n1, she's like the mascot of the bronydom. And even she has problems outmathcing RD now, because of the lack of Flutetrshy episodes, she lost many folowers =( Which I personally find sad. And yes, Rarity is WORST pony, ALWAYS! In all internet polls she is voted as lowest pony together with AJ - EVERY. FUCKING. TIME. Suck it up Raribitches! I have never seen a poll result in which Rarity was NOT lower than 4th place HAHAHAHA. |
