I'm reminded of a short story, I can't remember what its name is, but it's a dystopian future where people are required by the government to where accessories that inhibit their natural talents/advantages (Beautiful people have to wear fake noses, intellectuals are distracted by a small earpiece that makes an annoying noise that wipes short term memory, etc)
It was one of the most frightening pieces of literature I've ever read. |

I found "Reed it and Weep" offensive. It showed little kids that it's ok to break into a building and steal stuff without suffering any consequences. And the character of Ahuizotl is just insulting for anybody with an Aztec heritage. The episode also made fun of the mentally challenged (the barking pony) and seriously injured people (RD’s roommate.) Finally, the Daring Do story was too violent and RD calling Twilight an Egghead is an insult to eggheads everywhere. |
