The current plausible explanation is that Apple removed the episode from iTunes, and wouldn't let Hasbro put it back on until they removed Derpy's derpitude.
Hasbro gave in to Apple's demands and forced Studio B to re-make it. Nobody fucking wanted to do that, and the resulting total lack of quality is visible in every aspect of the edit. |
