For starters I'll be the first to admit that I'd rather contract AIDS from a hobo rapist rather than purchase a piece of Apple hardware or download their software. That said, I'm a little confused to why they are the reciepent of so many pointed fingers after the Derpy fiasco. Do people really think that the new version was created specifically for Apple? Did Apple shoot Ashleigh Ball a phone call and tell her to report ASAP to their offices to record a new line? I'm not buying it, this seems to me like the work of Hasbro alone with Apple serving as the unlucky middle man in this whole affair. |

Obviously, you guys never heard,
the edit that changed Derpy was not by hasbro, lauren, nor the hub. It was by iTunes. the hub shows an un-edited version, still. however, the version on iTunes has her voice changed, and her eyes un-derped. THEREFORE apple's fault. |

Apple could not change the content of the episode without Hasbro's consent. Apple wouldn't care about the content of the episode if nobody complained about it — in this case, they're just a distributor. Apple took down the original episode because people (that is, YOU) complained about the voice, so Hasbro re-edited it to conform to how they thought those people (that is, YOU) wanted Derpy to be portrayed. Therefore, it is YOUR fault.
Not Apple's fault. Not Hasbro's fault. YOURS! The copypasta has a point. If YOU people didn't make a big deal about Derpy's voice in the first place, nobody at Apple or Hasbro would have done a damn thing and let the episode stand. You have no one to blame but yourself. |

I want to see Apple die in a fire as much as anyone, but there's no proof and not even a trail of breadcrumbs that would suggest they had anything to do with it. Lay off the tinfoil hat theories, this was merely Hasbro doing the standard ass-cover move. |

Apple's cultlike way of marketing and ensnaring the buyers is pretty awful before any of their recent drama involving their products, the way their stuff are made, the way their stuff are sold, the way they want to control their media to a T, etc etc.
They're pretty f'n awful in general regardless of the Derpygate. |
