I'm reasonably sure he's not going to read this, but:
@Anon9141: There were very few complaints about that within the brony community. There were many more from people outside the fandom, particularly mothers worrying about hurting the feelings of their (or someone else's) children. Maybe you've forgotten, maybe you just find it hard to believe, but bronies are still just a small part of the overall MLP market. |

I was wondering how many people actually paid attention, and it turns out there was only one. No wonder the fandom blew up the way it did. Seems like most people are too busy shouting to pay attention to anything else. |

Love and tolerance between strangers with no reason to either love or tolerate one another. It's a house of cards, pretty but fragile, and oooh so flammable. All it needs is one good flame to get it going, if you catch my drift.
Really though. It's just a cartoon. I'll probably still watch, but this fandom is boring me now. Drew me in with all these false promises of being something better than the other fandoms out there. People are people though, no matter what they say. Try to dress it up by changing the paradigm; somepony this, and hoof that, and so on. We don't care about each other unless we're invested in each other's well-being, and that's certainly not the case in such a disparate community as the ones found online. We tolerate, sure, but only until boredom sets in. Then the suspension of disbelief lifts, and you remember we're all anon, and noone is accountable, and no-one can stop you from being cruel, or stupid for your own amusement. Trololololol. You know how it goes. ;) |
