I suspect that sometime around 2009-2010, our universe merged with an alternate universe. In that universe, Transformers always sucked and MLP was always awesome, whereas our universe MLP:FIM was going to be awful and the Michael Bay Transformers movies were exceptional, focusing on the strengths of the franchise with amazing writing to back it up. When our universes merged, we ended up with a strange amalgamation of the universes, but nobody really knows it. Presumably, those pieces of history you thought you knew, but turned out were wrong, were right in one of the previous universes. |
