It's stuff like this that reminds me how great my own northern european country is.

We constantly make fun of cultures and people, and have black, sexist, and dark humor portrayed on television often.

We're socialists and if we discriminate we aren't punished, merely asked ''why?''

This is why i hate America.

Fuck the lot of you.

You know why? because people bitched "DURR HURR SHE SOUNDS RETARDED."

And you bitched, and you bitched, and you bitched.

This is the end result of your bitching.

Goddamit, do you remember the lesson of "Suited for Success?"

DON'T LOOK A GIFT HORSE IN THE MOUTH.

And you fuckers did. So, you deserve it.

Option 1: The HUB continues to air the original version, thus making the iTunes version a "quit yer bitchin" edit.
Option 2: The HUB airs the revised edition, which would be unfortunate, IMO.
Option 3: The HUB never airs this episode again, which is also bad.

@Zero: And in cases 2 and 3 I say "Well that's sad" and move on. There's still plenty of good coming from this show and I'm not about to get up in arms over this one little thing.

I agree with Kyouhen. But I really hope it's Option 1 as suggested by ZeroJanitor.

THANK YOU!

Yes, it's iTunes, not Hasbro.

Same here. For all we know it really could be just an Apple thing. We won't know for sure until we see it on the HUB (if they decide to air it again).

Aaaaand another thing, we don't even know yet if it's simply just a copyright thing.

And at the end of the day, does this really change anything? Yes it's sad that someone decided to take away the beautiful gift Studio B gave us, but the thoughts behind that gift still remain. Studio B gave us Derpy because they love us, and no amount of retconning can destroy that. Let's not turn into something that would make them regret their gift to us.

Love and tolerate.

Hasbro didn't give us the show, Lauren Faust did. Hasbro just provided the basis for it, which was only created as a marketing scheme for them to sell their shit. If Hasbro wasn't involved this show would be so much better, free to do it's own adorable, awesome, antics.

I blame iTunes too. They've Disney-fied their offerings eons ago. They are like a moralistic cult.

As for the idiot artists bringing this to the forefront, they deserve all the vitriol for messing with the cartoon.

THIS. Thank you, Kyouhen. That's sorta what I'm trying to say since I heard about that.
Hasbro isn't "bad", Studio B likes us. I wouldn't be surprised if the next time The Last Roundup is hosted, Derpy will be back to her original self (maybe with the new voice, since her original one was a mistake).

Also, one more check on my list of "How Apple is the most assholish company in the world". I just hope people WONT take this episode on iTunes. Or any other, for that matter.

...Damn, isn't there anything similar to iTunes, but owned by people who actually gives a shit ?

@Anon508: Hasbro has been very generous to this show and the fans. (Hell, I even have a Minty blind bag pony now! I was upset the new show wasn't going to have Minty before I saw it; now the toy line at least has Minty.) Until someone shows me proof that this decision came from Hasbro rather than iTunes, I'm going to put my suspicion of blame where the evidence points. And it's pointing one letter past H in the alphabet.

(Evidence pointing to Hasbro is not completely zero; they did once retcon GI Joe villian Zartan in response to complaints. But if I remember right from so long ago, the complaint in that case came from the American Psychiatric Association. His original file card said he was a paranoid schizophrenic but the description was essentially incompatible with that diagnosis. And the only thing they did was remove the statement he's schizophrenic from the file card.)

And rest assured Dhana, I won't download this episode, or any other episode, or any other content of any kind whatsoever, from iTunes. I haven't done business with Apple since the Apple Cube. Telling customers that a computer *sold entirely on the basis of its aesthetics* wasn't defective when its clear case had visible cracks in it meant they were no longer a company I would patronize. (And no, I never bought a Cube; this is not a personal grudge, it's a matter of principle. I won't reward that kind of crap with my business.)
