I too, like OP was saddend by these developments, but managed to find peace when my chicken sandwich was ready to eat out of the microwave and I was fairly delighted that it wasn't dry. |

Gave it a second look. She's still walleyed, which is all that matters to be honest. New voice is superior and the name removal isn't too serious. Besides, coming from Dash it almost sounded like an insult. And what other background pony is ever named? No big deal.

agree with the 3 and 5. the name 'Derpy' was given by the fans because of her wall-eyed look. however, it seems Hasbro doesn't want to be kinda ordered by the fans anymore. so, i guess they prefer to keep Ditzy Doo as name, which explains why they muted it in RD line. it's just a hypothesis. |
