I just really followed suit for the helluvit to be honest. Though it is true. Rainbowshine does deserve a bit of a love nudge from the fanon. I mean, you can only draw Lyra and Bonbon so much. Some other show ponies need some love too.
Also, I didn't have Impact font currently, so that explains the iffy font choice. |

With the exception of Derpy, and the very occasional mention of Cloud Kicker, background pegasi barely seem to get noticed. |

You would imagine that if people are unhappy about how these characters are not portrayed by the fans they would go out of their way to make interesting and excited fan content like comics, artwork or fiction which would boost their popularity.
But I guess complaining about people who do make content about their favorite ponies will accomplish the same goals. Maybe everyone who cares is not creative beyond image macros. |

@1052646 This has been an issue I've noticed too. The show has a lot of great BG pegasi that barely get any art. Thunder Rush, Dizzy Twister, Sun Rays, and quite a few others barely get any notice.
Heck, if not for Derpy, Cloud Kicker, and Raindrops, there would hardly be any BG Pegasi art. |

Medley is a little bit popular, but I see your point. The BG pegasi definitely aren't as popular.
Sun Rays actually has a toy coming out. Although it looks almost exactly like Fluttershy. |

It wouldn't surprise me if she gets a brushable at some point though. She has pink and purple, she has rainbow and she's been a blindbag. It's funny how even when Hasbro uses background characters, they aren't the ones the adult fans are crazy for. It's not bad or anything, just funny.
Sun Rays the toy = Fluttershy and Diamond Rose's lesbian pregnancy baby. I originally thought it was the lighting and they were reissuing DR and Cherry was Cherry Pie the unicorn. |
