Go nuts one time for comic effect. Fans say you're a cannibalistic psychopath. This is why I really despise what this fandom does. |

I can see where this is going. However, It doesn't go against the grain of the show. Trollestia, On the other hand, Does. "Trollestia", In my eyes, Is just an exaggerated misunderstanding of Princess Celestia. I've never looked at the Trollestia tumblr, I can just roll with the punch but some folks take it too seriously. Princess Celestia only pulled one joke that I can think of: Causing the Cakes to overfill her teacup. I think it was to help lighten the mood of the party as at least a few Ponies there were on edge. She's been keeping the peace and harmony in Equestria for a long time, That can't be a very easy job to do and she should have much knowledge about how to handle it even if many fans don't understand the way she runs things. So I don't see "Trollestia" To add to the show, Perhaps out of cheap, Non-serious laughs. On the other hand much of the fanon content adds to the show IMO such as Berry's alcoholism and love for her daughter, Derpy's, Well, Derpiness and love for her daughter and muffins, Lyra and Bon-Bon's relationship and maybe even Dr. Whooves. I could keep listing fanon but that would make a very long comment. |

Perhaps I should be a little bit more clear: For me it doesn't go against the grain of the show, Not much anyway. The show is still aimed at little kids and I'd like it to stay that way but Fanon such as what I listed doesn't hurt my views of the show and I see much of it if not all of it as an extension of the show. |

Well, I agree that Trollestia doesn't really 'fit' with Celestia in the show. However,
