This never made sense to me. Neither Rarity or Pinkie knew Dash had said "they knew what they were getting into". They were too far away to have heard it. And why didn't they just go back to find Rarity and Pinkie once they caught AJ?
Maybe I've just missed something. |

Well, they knew Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle would have wanted to turn around, so it woulda been obvious it was Dash who said to keep going. |

Technically, it was all Mayor Mare and Applebloom's fault. They put a lot of pressure of AJ which caused her to run away which made them chase her to Dodge Junction where the whole incident occurred.
You could even go so far as to blame Derpy (for wrecking the Town Hall thus making MM ask for money) but who could blame Derpy? |

Dash left them behind, leaving Rarity stranded in the desert, and having to deal with Pinkie all the way home. If you have to deal with "Chimicherry? Cherrychonga" for days, you'd be wanting to take your rage out on Dash too. |

If I'm following the logic here, then the other ponies don't even consider Pinkie to be a "person". They treat her like a "thing". Earlier, Rainbow Dash uses Pinkie as a WEAPON against Applejack. She seriously just aims Pinkie in a direction and lets her loose.
So Rarity can't be mad at Pinkie Pie, because that would be like getting mad at the weather. In the minds of the mane cast, Pinkie isn't even a sentient being. |
