I always saw her imprisonment in the moon as NMM's spirit becoming the moon itself in a certain way, being either in a state of coma or watching Equestria. |

Yes, posters, I think people are starting to let it dawn on them when they re-watch the episode.
Despite all the funny vids and pics. She wasn't trapped "on" the moon, she was trapped "in" the moon. Her silhoutee was on the face of the moon until she was freed. So basically her spirit was trapped inside the moon. How aware she was during this time is hard to tell as it wasn't revealed if she was watching the world or in a deep sleep. Discord on the other hand seems to have implied he was aware while stone. |
