We know Spike was born when Twilight Sparkle was still a young filly. Assuming that she's college age by now, Spike should almost be a teenager, despite being called a "baby" dragon. |

SomE made it canon that dragons don't mature by time, they mature by greed or at least emotions and state of mind. Dragon's Quest mentions "migration" and Spike's "true identity." I know its too early but Dragon Quest's synopsis heavily implies another Spike maturing episode. |

This Twilight looks like a schoolgirl, so Spike would similarly be younger.
I like humanizations of these two because it makes the sibling vibe for them even greater then normal. |
