Applejack has been climbing the ranks. She was the least popular during season 1, but when season 2 came around, everyone realized just how awesome she is. Also, I agree with my fellow commenters, she is prettiest pony. Awesome artwork! |

You've been walking in the forest for what feels like days, perhaps weeks; honestly, with the cloud cover, your exhaustion, hunger, fatigue, and crappy sense of direction, you can't even really tell.
You wonder when you last ate anything more significant than a few tiny unripe berries, and drank more than what little sap-flavored rainwater you've managed to catch in your mouth, filtered down from the arboreal canopy above. What's more, you could swear you're being followed; in your fear, you can do no more than imagine what beast is hunting you, waiting for you to collapse and die from exhaustion. it srated soem time ago when you heard someting sizable crash away in the underbrush, and sicne then, you keep hearing things and seeing movement just outside of your range of perception, eve within the leaves above you. And, to top it all off, you feel as if it's been herding you in one direction... Finally, you feel that the trees are thinning, and just manage to see the angles and shapes of buldings not too far off in the distance. You enter a last celaring within the forest proper... ... that's when she appeared. A tiny, orange, strangely-proportioned horse. Wearing a stetson, no less. You stare in tired confusion, but you feel unafraid. Something from looking into those deep viridian irises puts you at ease, as if withing the clearing, no deception can exist, and, as you see no threat, no attacker; there cannot be anysuch. Instead, in her adorable little muzzle, she holds an apple by the stem. She walks up to you, those eyes still locked on yours, and you can't help but trust this creature; the apple is an offering, a gesture of goodwill, an extention of assistance of something you need, feely given, to help restore your tired body. Slowly, calmly, you take the apple. It's the perfect apple. It's so perfect, it's problably the only thing that could tear your eyes away from hers. It's the apple that all the Master artists thoughout time would beg to have the privelage to paint, the apple that would make the Golden Apples of Olympus rot in shame, and make Yaweh hoard it's tree out of sheer greed. It's such a perfect apple, that it nearly gives you a heart attack because right next to your ear you hear: "Well, y'all gonna eat that or what?" |
