I remember an old cartoon, Merrie Melodies I believe?
Think it was a family of mice and the grandfather told the story of how there were monsters that fought in the first World War. Calling them monsters because of the gas masks. Ending the story with how only two remained, they killed one another leaving only the animals. Really well done, probably how our world will end up one day. :<> |

What I'd give to see something like this in the show. Giant gas-masked monsters with insanely advanced (modern, as in right this second) tech returning to the world after disappearing thousands of years ago.
But maybe they're not evil monsters like everyone says and thinks. |

It isn't very often something this old is still relevant today, especially a cartoon.

Hey thanks for making this pic! I remember seeing this cartoon only once when I was a kid, and was greatly impressed, but I never found out what it was called. I forgotten about it for years, but when I saw the thumbnail I instantly remembered where it's from, and now I got to see it again! Thanks :D |

Yeah, I remember that.
Then the animals found the Bible (or, at least, the Ten Commandments) and concluded that it was "a pretty good set of rules". AND EVERYTHING WAS OKAY FOREVER. Still, it was a nice little cartoon. |
