the eyes are teh wrong color, twilight's hair has 3 colors so it's not too hard to tell that this humanization has the wrong prominent hair color, the whole thing is a spit in the face of the personification of the concept of anatomy, the colors don't apply to her scheme at all, it's... this is an example, for all you who ever wondered, of how something can be "objectively terrible" this is just awful |

oh and yeah let's not forget, one of the major defining characteristics of any given pony is their fucking hairstyle
which, spoiler alert, this completely fails to capture at all. If it werent for the book Id suspect it's a humanization of Gen 3 Scootaloo or something. Would definitely explain the whole "hideous freak with stupid hair" thing going on. This is just so bad, I am blown away at how bad a humanization this is |

is there an enormous cranium under that hair? How is it even possible for it to be shaped the way it is and still all be growing from a regular-height scalp? those "bangs" imply that if she lifted htem up, underneath you'd see NOTHING, because her bangs grow from the middle of her damn head, are supported by a scaffold glued to the top of it, and TEN are allowed to fall forward

eh its an artistic style. I don't think the purpose of the drawing was to be completely physically correct or to adhere strictly to standard depictions of Twilight Sparkle. Hardly the worst image I have ever seen on ponibooru, not by a longshot.
Chalk it up to artistic license. Artists do what they do, draw what they wanna draw. Sometimes the final product appeals to a general audience, sometimes it doesn't. |

I dont really think "style" flies as an excuse here
it shares basically no traits whatsoever with the character. It's like if I drew a portrait of betty white and said it's my Pound Cake humanization. It's just not accurate. |
