Furry is quite a large ranging name for a fandom. Furry fetish is quite common in the fandom but not necessary. Psychologists are not really sure what furry fetish is. All furries I know wouldn't fuck real animals though, so I dont think its real beastiality. |

No. Furry is not bestiality as anthropomorphic animals are almost exclusively sentient beings with human-like intelligence. Comparing it to an attraction to real animals make no sense since they usually resemble humans more than animals. I mean just look at Fluttershy here. Is there anything about her that looks like a real-life pony? |

It's the facial expressions and human reactions...I don't think furries would like a furry image that didn't transmit human emotions on it.
It's the same with ponydom.People think these ponies are sexy because of the expressions of human feelings through cute ponies. |

I think Furry's who insist that they are in no way attracted to Animals is the same as People who beat it to Lolicon but insist that they in no way find Young People attractive. It's just a Bullshit excuse to try and dodge the shame of your Fetish but here's the thing that's Key: There are Legions of People who have those kinds of feelings but would ever allow themselves to do something that might hurt another living thing. Because the average Person has Empathy and it trumps whatever Predilections they might have. Just like how Homosexuality was argued as being linked with Harmful Behaviors: Until the establishment was forced to admit that there was no correlation between feeling attracted to the Same Sex and Sociopathy. Soon, we will have to recognize the same thing about every Urge that People have. |

@IntelligentAnon I can admit it I like lolicon and furries, and my mind has also began to wander through the dark hallway lined with doors I have come to call the "Urge Ward". I do have those types of urges towards both animals and as you put it "young people", but would I ever act on them? Hell no! Well, unless there was a 100% chance that no harm would be done. What?! I'm not going to say that there's no way in hell that I would indulge in such behavior, cause I know damn well that I would. But anon is right that empathy prevents me from acting on urges at others expense. If nobody will get hurt, she's all for it and knows what she's getting into, and nobody(meaning I) won't get into trouble be it via nobody ever finding out or it being approved by her parent/guardian(as if that would ever happen). I know these thing will never happen and I'm cool with that. |
