NITPICKING TIME
It's actually better if they -don't- kill. That's why we use copper bullets instead of lead; they go through, resulting in a wounded enemy instead of a dead one. This ties up someone who's been shot -and- a medic; basically, it takes two enemy combatants out of combat instead of one. So, traditionally anyway, it's better if guns wound rather than kill. ... also, is this meant to imply that Rarity is a nazi? |

I think Fluttershy's would be a silenced 9mm, and Pinkie's would be a vulcan minigun, imo |
| FuzzyFenrir #1047308 4 months ago |
Now, I'm no expert on guns,
but we need some revolvers in here. |
| Aquilinus #1047311 4 months ago |
This is absolute nonsense.
Rarity would be a Walther PPK, darling. |

| Harlequin_Jester #1047317 4 months ago |
Classier than James Bond's gun? I think not. |
| PonyRIG #1047320 4 months ago |
screw guns, make "pony and her super robot" one or "pony and the her best possible human friend (no real humans)" one |
| Xaxidoro #1047340 4 months ago |
Hmmm, I guess I can considered myself a gun nut, being that I actually bother looking up guns.
Besides being that (almost) all of these are early 1900 weapons, I don't see any reason why Twilight would be the M14. I would consider her to be some highly tactical weapon, one which could hold many extensions, combat assistance, that sort of thing. It is hard to tell how the comparisons are going as well, Applejack would only be an old lever-action if you were comparing her to how "old styled" it is. Otherwise I would have chosen a light or medium machine gun. There are faster weapons than the MP5A3, why not compare her to a faster one? For example, the MG42, an early machine gun, is not TOO powerful but was built for speed. Pinkie Pie would be a cannon, a party cannon. I don't know what people consider to be a "fancy" gun, but in stereotype, Rarity would probably have a revolver. |

>Ruger Mk2
>awful Nambu ripoff by shitty fudd company Get that fucking thing away from Fluttershy. >P08 >Rarity Now this is a pairing. >M14 >not AJ What sort of crazy shit... >Deagle Why would you even... This list is just wrong. There was one that actually made sense some time ago. |

@346
Calm down, OP probably had his or her reasons. >M14 - Twilight Sparkle: Long ranged, as in magic >Ruger MKII - Fluttershy: Okay, it may be a "rip off", but it is still used more. Silent. >W1887 - Applejack: Symbolizing her "old timer" farm. >MP5A3 - Rainbow Dash: I haven't been catching up with the most recent of the A models, but probably speed and compact-ability? >DE MXIX - Pinkie Pie: Murder Time Fun Time >LP08 - Rarity: I never looked into this one, but I'll take it from the other posters that this is classy. |

1. This doesn't make any sense
2. The Desert Eagle is such an unnecessary waste of money it's only real use show it off to all your rich douche friends. I wouldn't trust any handgun that uses a slide, let alone with such an large caliber 3. Do you know the only people who know about the Model 1887 are Historians and COD gamers? It's because NOBODY used it. You see, back then, shotgun shells were made of paper, not plastic, and paper has a tendency to crumple up. Well, that poses a problem when they're jammed up in the firing mechanism. 4. The P.08 (Lugar) wasn't standard issue no the German army during WWII, which is why they were so popular amongst American G. I.s and so rare today. (not a gripe, just an observation) |

>It's actually better if they -don't- kill. That's why we use copper bullets instead of lead; they go through, resulting in a wounded enemy instead of a dead one. Hahaha, people still believe this shit? Incredible. The bullets are jacketed with copper, you dimwit, otherwise they are 90% lead, and it's because bare lead couldn't be stabilized at high speeds of today's centerfire rifle rounds (800-1000+ m/s). Also you don't have a clue about wounding mechanisms or terminal ballistics. Hollowpoints aren't used by the military for a variety of reasons - FMJs are more reliable, penetrate cover better and are easier to store properly. The Hague convention also forbids them but nobody gives a crap about that in warfare, seriously. |

hurr, actually, thanks for pointing that out, because I was feeling kind of stupid for knowing (what I considered to be) an excessive amount about guns. I feel better that I'm not a gun nerd, since honestly I could care less about how or why a gun works as long as I can shoot straight (and I can). Back to caring about stuff I actually know about, yay! |
