If vacationing/living in jungle climates, there are two items essential for survival and comfort: a towel, and a portable fan. For the fan, not also can it cool you, but when postioned, say, upon a chair who's seat is at the same elevation as your bed, the breeze makes surprisingly effective 'mosquito net' effect; in that they dislike flying through wind (and insects in general dislike trying to move through), and the fan disperses the scent of your CO^2 (which is how they find you). Simply set it up so that the breeze is over your body; most importantly, your face. The white noise also serves to aid sleep, as well as mask that annoying whine tha mosquitos make in flight. |
