RD needs to look furiously angry in panel two to match the original scene, plus her suddenly going from angry to realizing she can't crush the scouter in the next panel would be funny.
That last panel is terribly unnecessary. The previous one executes the punchline and self-inserting and having a character from a different show are just muddying the purpose of the comic. Also, why even depict himself being punished for the joke? Is it like hedging a bet? "If you didn't like this joke then neither did I!" Have some confidence in your writing. |
