He learned from his past mistakes, if you want to make sure your sworn enemy dies don't just leave them on the way to their doom and see the whole thing in person. And while waiting might as well have some fun with them.
Although I personally think Ahuizotl is a big tsundere for Daring and actually wants her to escape, so he'd always leave her alone on purpose. |
