Makes the usual mistake of treating "the fandom" as a monolith. Some people create fanon (which is fun if you aren't a freak about it) and other wept as their butts ached from Derpy's portrayal.
On Ponibooru at least there seems to be nearly no complaining about how they did Derpy. Quite the opposite, there was a backlash against such complaints. |
