The more I read of this, the more I think Daring Do could be a fan fic series to beat all other alternate universe fan fics

... for the love of.... fandoms! Stop thinking so -damn hard-, alright? *mutters*
Sorry, but sometimes... just, *frustrated noise*, enough is enough, you know? Even if you don't agree with me, at least you can see where I'm coming from?

I'd really love to see what are Daring's adventures like in other books where her wings are actually healthy. Most of the traps in Saphire Stone would be a cakewalk with flying ability, so I wonder how the writer cranked up the danger to make up for the wings.

Arrows still work. So does gas, fire, boulders that take up the entire hallway, etc.,

Although I'm kinda fond of the idea that DD injures her wings at least ONCE in every story.

The rock avalanche in Dragonshy makes for a good use of working wings. Other such traps can be made. Trouble is making sure she is kept grounded for the more elaborate deathtraps.

This is under the header of "Just For Fun." That said, it is rather amusing to read all the tropes (and fake examples) that they've come up with for it.
