It's actually something common for people that lead active lives and pick up a more passive hobby. My cousin went through the exact same thing when he picked CoD and dropped some of his basketball. Athletes have a tough time adapting their calorie intake when dropping some (any) amount of physical activity. Poor Rainbow Dash couldn't have picked a worse hobby to obsess over. |

Pats belly You'd gotta think flying burns a lot of calories though, not even competitive racing like Dash does. Pegasi must take in a lot of food to still have energy to fly. Fluttershy must be like a goddamn hummingbird. Unless you subscribe to the "Flying magic" school of thought. And by the by, feel free to call me Gentle Coltte or GC or GCoL or anything really as long as we drop the numbers. It's kind of... dehumanizing.... |

:P Anyway, even if flying takes up a lot of calories, she's now flying less. Which brings the same result: Dash gaining weight, because she now spends a portion of her time reading instead of exercising. You have to keep in mind, that in the past she only did one of three things: Exercise, work or sleep. |

Well, i can't humans, anon. You'll need someone else to help you there. No numbers for you: Despite how funny that is, i don't think they can fall through clouds. Since that must be some form of innate pegasus magic that works subconsciously like breathing or something. A society that lives on clouds would be FUBARed if it was possible for them to fall through under any circumstances. |
