^^I have seen rainbow dash x spike but in the story because of rainbow's pride she leads spike (who has wings at this point) though the cannon with the eels in it, and the eels crush spike's body against the rocks, killing him. |

Spike is usually shipped with Rarity because:
a)canon b)Rarity is sexy The other shipping pair is almost always TwiSpike because: a) Psuedo-incest is kinky without any genetic issues. b) "Number one assistant" who lives with her and even c) rides her all the time, one time with him actually holding reigns to fulfill part of his fantasy. d) Twilight isn't exactly the best at socialization, so she might hav problems getting a partner the regular way. refer to part b. I've heard of one fic with SpikeXCelestia, but not much else for unusual Spike pairs. |

@dragonSpike Well, thats a fic that is called "Of Feathers And Scales" in which Spike grows wings and Rainbow Dash trains him how to fly, but as the time passes, Dash starts to have feelings for Spike. Pretty good fic, too bad it hasn't been updated. |

I agree. Another thing is Fluttershy's interest in Spike vanished without a trace after the first episode. If Fluttershy maintained it in other episodes, the fans could have also shipped her easily with Spike. For me though, I find better romance fics for Spike/Rarity while better clop fics for Twi/Spike. |
