Putting Your Hoof Down better damn well have Lee Ermey.
Or at the very least, it would be FUCKING AWESOME if he showed up. |

More Flutterbitch, of course.
Twilight will have all sorts of Back to the Future/Doctor Who/misc time travelling memes. Pinkie's might actually be just a feel-good episode. |

Who am I, Nostradamus? I don't know |

I'm anticipating 'Smile Smile Smile'.
And you can never have too much Flutterbitch. As for the Twilight ep... I want Ponyville to be affected. Like, she freaks everypony out. |

Although I do hope the smile song will be in today's episode |
| Dr_Action #1027698 5 months ago |
I'm hoping Pinkie sings her Smile Smile Smile song in her episode, it seems to fit the theme a bit
all I expect from Putting Your Hoove Down is Flutterrage or "Fluttershy's dark side" It's About Time I'm hoping it's like either that South Park's "My Future Self and Me" or Penguins of Madagascar's "It's about Time" which has the same title and surprisingly similar storyline |

"What kind of expectations do you expect"
You mean what types of expectations do I expect the brony community to adopt about the upcoming episodes? Can't rightly say... |

Lessons
-A Friend in Deed: (I'll be honest this one has me stumped, I'm seeing maybe three different lessons) -Putting Your Hoof Down: Wanting to change can be good, but you should also consider what your friends would think before you do it. -It's About Time: No matter what the future says, it is never set in stone, and can always be changed. |

Memes? I'm thinking Fluttertough. |

Lessons :
*Putting your hoof down : It's possible to be tough AND kind, you don't have to either be a rigid asshole or a sentimental milquetoast all the time. *It's about time : -If it's a hoax/imposter : ...Maybe something about avoiding being tricked by bavarian fire drills. -If Twilight's panicking PROVOKES the disaster she's trying to prevent : Worrying about what might happen and giving in to panic is more of a hinderance than a lack of foresight. -If it leads to multiple time loops eventually leading to multiple Twilights : Groupthink can be bad. Listen to the differing opinions from your firends when you're stumped! |

Oh, forgot the lesson: Dear princess Celestia: I'm insane, and you are my insanity. |

Oh, I got one!
If the donkey is in any way Mexican we'll have every single line he says made into a macro. Also, I'll pretend to be upset about the portrayal of Hispanics and I won't be the only one. ![]() |

I wish they'd stop putting out episode titles and summaries in advance.
I know they have to because of the satellite providers, but still. It always engenders speculation, and the speculation always turns out wrong. |

Writer is still TBA but I'm calling it now: The name "Cranky Doodle Donkey" promises another showcase of Dave Polsky's politics. |

A Friend In Deed...that's the one about the goat or whatever that doesn't like Pinkie, right? The message will be that some people/ponies are just different, and that there's nothing wrong with disagreeing about things. And aside from the tsundere shipping, I expect to see Francis-style "I hate everything" macros for the goat.
Putting Your Hoof Down is the Fluttershy/Assertiveness episode, I think. I expect to see a completely unnecessary training montage led by Big MacIntosh. As far as the message...I'm not sure, because assertiveness can be both a good thing and a bad thing, and there's no real rule of thumb that one can teach for it. I expect It's About Time to involve Twilight attempting to change the past for the better and instead making things worse, allowing Nightmare Moon/Discord/Trixie/etc. to win, her never meeting her friends, everyone turning into sea ponies, and so on, and the message from the future being something along the lines of "DON'T SCREW WITH THE PAST YOU PURPLE TWIT". That's the episode I'm most looking forward to right now. |

I'm kind of hoping that Fluttershy retains her assertiveness training after the episode is over. I don't want her to go back to "scared of her shadow" just because the episode ended. I'd be really happy if they made her a kind badass. (she sort of already is, but it takes a lot for her to pull it out.) |

I am very happy to be wrong today. |
