In my humble opinion, 08th MS Team (Zakus!) and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (IT'S A GUNDAAAAM!) were the best. Everything else I remember seeing was crap.
Still, that thing is expertly drawn and this tumblr is yay. |

Yeah, Wing was full of so much angst it isn't even funny. I swear, they were ALL gay. But it was still awesome. Although, me and my buddies made a drinking game out of it. Take a shot every time you hear "peace" and you will be half-dead. |

G Gundam is REALLY the DBZ of the Gundams, heck, it even has Hironobu Kageyama in the opening, but gotta love it, it was cheesy, but you loved the characters easily, not to mention it had a simple romance, unlike friggin SEED/00 where it was pointless... Also, Master Asia.

I have enjoyed Gundam Unicorn so far. the only thing that I didn't like about it was that they ran out of ideas and ripped off the transforming airplane mobile suits from Macross (actually now that I think about that thet did that in Gundam 00 too). |

i loved SEED and Destiny, mostly Destiny because Kira became god and pretty much could take on ZAFT and OMNI alone if it weren't for the fact Shinn: 1. obsessed over him whilst spinning on Rei's penis, 2. was so far below Kira's level he didn't even think to kill him, 3. had a modular mobile suit he could blow up as a tactic.
00 was awesome because it was drawn by Yun Kouga and seemed to have been written by GAINAX and Arthur C. Clarke. 08th MS Team is probably the best though as it was as good as the 52 and 100 episode series i love whilst only having 12 of its own. G Gundam has the best fanbase and memes though |

Macross came before Zeta gundam. However, Gundam's transformations in Zeta tended to look simpler than transforming from a F-14 looking jet into a full robot. I guess what I'm trying to say is the idea that transforming is cool might have been proven by Macross, but Gundam handled it in a diffrent way.
