Muffin is right. Not only was it awful; it was so awful that Tara Strong had to actually remove the tweet and then posted a response saying she was just joking and having fun. A couple of people in the EqD comments said they were going to report her to Hasbro as well.
Due to their moralfaggotry, Tara was shamed and will probably be less likely to have fun and reach out toe the brony community in general. People are just brushing it off left and right but in truth this is the kind of nonsense that ruins a fun community and distances us from the talent. (Whom we used to have a pretty decent relationship with.) So, Tl;Dr: Fuck EqD and avoid them like the god damned plague. |

To be fair I think some of the "haters" on EqD do have a point. I don't mind people cloping to ponies but they shouldn't try to rub it into everones face. Otherwise bronies will get a very bad reputation as "the crazy guys who mastrubate in front of the children cartoon my daugther watches". |

Keep reading CogWeaver. Keep reading. And the problem is the community they have cultivated that has led to (as I stated) shaming Tara and making her remove her tweet and apologize. She didn't just remove that singular image and then have to explain that she was just in a silly mood for nothing.
EqD encourages and appeases moralfags and creates a horrible pestilence that kills everything fun. Again, I wish there was a better news site so people could avoid it altogether. |
