Peanuts was just screwed up. It's good, but after a while the whole universe hating Charlie Brown totally went too far and the whole thing stopped being funny. |

^ Charlie Brown had more problems than just Lucy. In fact, I'm pretty sure Lucy was the only person who actively tried to help him (but she messed with him and bullied him a LOT in the process). |

Someone else mentioned this, but in the Peanuts Halloween special - there's an entire town full of adults evil enough to gang up on one kid and give him nothing but rocks. |

It's not even intentional. On one of the movies they are playing a football game, the entire town watching, last second, near the goal line, down by one point. It's up to Charlie Brown to make a goal kick. And then Lucy ttakes the ball from him not allowing him to kick. The team loses. And despite everybody seeing what hapened they still blame the loss on Charlie Brown.
The only possible answer is that the universe itself is against the poor boy. |
