About what Anon 4042 said, about this being the end of us, that would have been true a year ago, I think. One of the reasons that the bronies were able to grow, imo, is that they got away from 4chan and all the connotations thereof.
There are lots of people who won't touch anything from 4chan with a ten foot pole, and I think getting away from that allowed sites like EqD to flourish. I think it's just gonna be the bronies that already hang out on 4chan over there, so it's not really gonna change much. We've moved away from them and formed our own cultural hubs at this point. |

Just about anything in today's world could be seen like that. I say enjoy what we got. And what we got, is not just a single board, but a whole site of ours: Ponychan. They can do what they want over on 4chan, but I'm personally staying away from that cesspool |

Not long before finding poni I spent quite a bit of time on 4chan. Since Ponies happened I haven't had the slightest inclination to go back. And I see that as a good thing. It's one of the ways that my life is better now. |

/v/ spawned /vp/ which turned into a torrent of crap relatively quickly.
Now /co/ has spawned /mlp/. It's up to an increasingly balkanized fanbase to determine what happens to that. |
