@CottonTales I hav a theory on this actually: we hav filters. the ones who are truly offended just don't see stuff. that leaves the trolls to be the main people complaining. In addition, the apparent family-friendliness leaves people less exposed to offensive stuff and thus more likely to be truly offended. EqD has every post all lumped together. The result is that not only are the trolls there, but the ones offended by the content are too. And then the trolls can troll both the ones offended and the ones who want the offended ones to shut up. Double the troll targets and half the tolerance from nontrolls. Perfect storm.

I never had a problem with EqD as a whole, they just got a few very loud idiots. I do try and avoid PonyChan and Knowyourmemes pony community like the bloody black-death. Horribility: Depends on if you measure it by intolerance (higher on EqD.) or measure it by the things we do tolerate (note: EqD does not hav foalcon and gore and rape on a weekly basis.)
