I'm sure this would make a lot more sense to me if I actually knew anything about politics.

>mfw "showing men at their best"
The person who wrote this is butthurt.

TL;DR Version: Discord is essentially the epitome of men, and men are extremely destructive.

"Women are, men must become."
"Celestia didn't become Celestia, she always was."
So what the fuck did Discord become?

So! Who's the bigger idiot; THIS 'feminist', or the 'feminist' that wrote that shitty essay that began this whole Brony Experience, so long ago?

Very thought provoking actually, I don't like the implication that Men are innately destructive by their Nature but it does have a point if you look at Men in their negative aspect. Big Macintosh is a good example of the inverse of this, a character with distinctly masculine traits but one that is balanced and content with his place in Equestria. For example, if he were to break the Fourth-wall and become aware of his status as primarily a Back-Ground character: One can bet that his reaction would be in keeping with a well-rounded Male personality. That is to say, grateful for what he has rather than acting vindictive or sulky for not having more recognition or screen-time. Contrast this with Discord's behavior and it really brings the point home.
