Luna doesn't even appear in this form in the first season. Then again, it's SO like Hasbro. They titled one of their DVDs with some S1 episodes Friendship Express, and the Express itself appears only in S2.

Mockup. Yeah, if you wanna dress up your actual copy, this is the way to go. If only they'd get enough cred to make a Blu-ray release. To do that, you'll need to buy the DVDs for FiM.

This would be THE. BEST. POSSIBLE. THING! And it actually has a chance of working. The moment I saw this I was immediately reminded of the covers of the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM DVD set. Those use fanart exclusively and are gorgeous (except for the box cover, which some douchebag did IIRC). They could hold a contest i.e. fans, design the cover and mail your submissions to Hasbro. All submissions become exclusive property of Hasbro, etc. EMAIL CAMPAIGN GET

If only it was real. As far as the fan art cover goes, Sonic the Hedgehog (the one with Knothole Village) used fanart for the inside covers and all the DVDs and it looked glorious.
