>wearing pony shirts
I fucking hate it when people do this. |
| Anonymous #1016062 5 months ago |
why |
| Anonymous #1016063 5 months ago |
Why do you hate people wearing pony shirts, I mean. :1 |
| Anonymous #1016068 5 months ago |
Look, you can like the show and shit, but wearing my little pony shirts when you're a full grown man in public is just dumb. That's like if you saw some 20 something male on a subway with a Hello Kitty shirt on. All dignity is lost. |
| Anonymous #1016073 5 months ago |
Yeah yeah, because when you're a man, you have to be UNGA BUNGA manly all the time forever.
Grow up, bro. <3 |

The shirt honestly isn't that bad. I don't see any reason to get all upset about it. It's not that flashy sure it isn't subtle but it's essentially like wearing any other shirt with a cartoon character on it.
I would go for a more subtle route IE: Cutie Mark Fitted hat,polo,t-shirt. But are his actions by wearing the shirt that egregious? |
| Anonymous #1016087 5 months ago |
>like my little pony
>think wearing pony shirts when full grown man is dumb >issues with man having ponies on shirt >is a man >likes my little pony how do i logic |
| Anonymous #1016092 5 months ago |
All my shirts are pony.
love derpy shirt! |
| Simlun #1016093 5 months ago |
People will judge him based on his clothes. It's the same reason you should dress good, if you dress badly you'll get treated badly. If you dress in a pony shirt people will think you're a manchild (even if I might not agree with them, but that's the general consensus). So, instead of wearing T-shirts with ponies on them, why not wear a regular buttoned shirt or a plain t-shirt? People will look at you differently. |
| Anonymous #1016097 5 months ago |
Why give a damn what people think about you?
Sure if you're going to work or something, play the part, but if you're off doing your own thing, dress how you want. |
| Anonymous #1016108 5 months ago |
You should care what people think about you, it will make you a more intelligent person. It might make you think twice before embarrassing yourself in future situations. |

Yesterday I complimented a guy on his pony shirt.
Today I was approached by someone and asked where I got my shirt. I directed her to WeLoveFine. I wear pony shirts in public, but not all the time and only non-flamboyant designs. They go well with my work jeans, knife, and boots. |
| Anonymous #1016129 5 months ago |
I dunno, I don't like the idea of putting on clothes while worrying if other people will like it.
Also, like I said, in work situations it's quite important to dress nice, to look intelligent, yadda yadda, but why ALL the time? I like dressing up to impress myself! I like the way I look. (And I'm still thinkin' I'd look good in that derpy shirt ;D) I wouldn't be able to stand dressing up all the time with other people's opinions in mind. It's my body! *toss in other arguments about tattoos and piercings and etc* |

I wear pony shirts. Hell, I make pony shirts. I rely on my eloquent manner of speaking and social presence to appear intelligent. I'd rather give off the appearance of immaturity than be so immature as to be ashamed of who I am and what I like. If there are people judging my entire character based solely on a t-shirt, then those people are not worth my time.
That being said, I probably wouldn't wear one to like a job interview. |
| Simlun #1016138 5 months ago |
As I said, most people will think you're a manchild for wearing a pony shirt. Do you think it'll be fun to get those looks? People everywhere will look at you in disgust and maybe, just maybe, some day some brony will go to you and say you have a nice shirt. Most people, however, will think you're a weirdo and do everything in their power to stay away from you. |
| Anonymous #1016142 5 months ago |
I don't know them! They can look at me weird all they want! I'M happy! If they're jealous of my happiness in my cute Twilight Sparkle hoodie then that's their problem! Not mine! :3 |

@FeralSocks018 ohgod totally buying bunny applebloom shirt next paycheck. |
| Anonymous #1016156 5 months ago |
For me, it's not about the shirt, but what the shirt represents. If you wear a band shirt, one could reasonably assume you're a fan of said band. If you wear a clown suit, people will probably think you're on your way to a party, or you're a serial killer. This is all well and good, but the problem lies with people who take things too far. I love FiM, but I would never wear something that one would associate with it in public because I don't want some random person to come up to me waiting to talk about ponies for hours on end. Seems unlikely, sure, but it's happened to me before with other things, so I'm content to keep my enjoyment of anything with a significant fanbase to myself. |

@145
Thank you! |

Nice Shirts Ferals!
Also, if you're afraid that some random will get stuck talking to you about ponies, then just reject them in a kind manner. You can always say that you're too busy or late to a certain appointment. If you're scared of what people think about you due to your clothes, you might as well go out naked, since you will ALWAYS be judged. TL;DR: Do whatever you wanna do, It's up to each individual's decision. |

^Woah, missed a lot of stuff while typing. I'm just sleepy so it's ok. |

You're too kind, 188.
Anyway, If we are so easily ashamed because of the opinions of others, then this fandom has failed. Our entire existence is based on the fact that we were unexpected and unconventional. |

These compliments inspired me a bit. Check that link above and you'll see two new Daring Do shirts, including a stealthy one for people like Jackarunda. |

People will judge you no matter what you do. People will make fun of you no matter what you do. There's no point getting all worked up over what others will think or say. That's what separates a true man from those pretending to be one. |
| Anonymous #1016865 5 months ago |
Grownups wearing Cookie Monster tshirts is OK, it's cool infact. But God forbid if it's Ponies. |

And do I think people would apply the manchild label automatically? Not necessarily in my opinion. It just depends on how you pull it off. Would you give someone a look if they had characters from 'adventure time' on their shirt or any other cartoon for that matter and label them? |

^If you care so much what people think then you should know that I think you're an asshole.
Cool shirt bro. |
