You would need to talk with hasbro for selling stuff with ponies on it

It depends on your art, is it very cutesy?
if so, then small children (0-4) and little girls (and the occasional Brony probably).

Yeah. We get a ton of those in here.

But seriously, Its really not a very good business unless you live in a city which have tons of schools (ranging from Kinder~College) or have tons of youth-oriented-clubs(not right word) which doesn't have their own presses, or you not having too much competition.

Then you have to deal about having negotiations with you and the artist and the original/current copyright holder. Not to mention if you want to sell online you have to settle things like shipping and stuff(I dont really have info about 'shipping stuff' stuff).

Well that's my Opinion... Feel free to read it or leave it. Or just leave it all in one. Its Just my opinion though... I could be wrong :P

Just to say - This is not really my idea. It's my dad's latest get rich quick scheme that I'm just kinda going along with.

Try to set up shop with Amazon.co.uk then I suppose, that's about the only store outside of Sweden I buy from.

Jazz nailed this one on the head. Your largest hurdle and overhead cost will be copyright licenses which you DO need for reproduction. Copyright law weighs down heavily on unlicensed reproduction for profit. And even if you did secure permission of every last artist, it's still Hasbro's intellectual property.

Thanks for your feedback. He's now given up on the pony idea thanks to your comments. I told him it would never work in the first place. He is going to look for a less terribad idea.
