I know this has been done before, but after playing through Hanako's storyline I had to make this.
Now if only I could somehow also combine Tali from Mass Effect in there... I would have the perfect waifu. |

So... fun fact: When I recently played through Katawa Shoujo, I decided to give the girls voice acting. About half way through act one, I realized it was basically the Mane 6.

In all seriousness, it's really not too hard to pin them down. 'Cept Rin. Because it just makes no sense for any of them to sound remotely like Applejack, and she's the leftover, unfortunately. |

Pinkie = Rin (albeit a perkier one) or Micha Rainbow Dash = Emi (athletic and seems the kind to try and run from her problems rather than face them) Rarity = Lily (naturally) Twilight = Shizune And Lyra or Derpy is Kenji |

Applejack can be Akira as long as you don't care too much about continuity. And thus Spike get's to be Shizune's little...uh...crossdressy brother... Okay I take it back that's a dumb idea. |

Now that I think deeply about it, in the end there is something that makes Fluttershy and Hanako different...
I'll say it, but I think I'm going to spoil the ending of Hanako, so you have been warned. If there's a word that can describe Fluttershy, it's up there in here name: shyness. Flutter has some trouble in being assertive, but she still lives like a normal being... pony... whatever: She goes to the spa with Rarity, she helps RD in choosing her pet... in the end, she is there when her friends needs her, even if she is afraid or has difficulty in giving her opinion in the situation. *SPOILERS ALERT FROM KATAWA SHOUJO!!! SPOILERS ALERT FROM KATAWA SHOUJO!!! SPOILERS ALERT FROM KATAWA SHOUJO!!! SPOILERS ALERT FROM KATAWA SHOUJO!!!* With Hanako, at first glance one can say that shyness is a trait that defines her, and although she may appear like that, I think there is a better word that define her better: "anti-social". Hanako not only feels uncomfortable near people, but she also avoids people on purpose. She doesn't want to have anything to do with anyone, and even if she is in her "comfort zone" (Reading, chess and pool), she still has her emotions closed. Even her best (only) friend Lilly (which I think she was the one who started the relationship, although I don't know about this detail) doesn't know much about her because she doesn't talk about it. And the reason of all of this is simple: Hanako hates people. She confess this to Hisao, with this exact words, if you go to the good ending. But with the experience she had in her childhood, one could see the reasoning of her behavior. *END OF SPOILERS FROM KATAWA SHOUJO!!! END OF SPOILERS FROM KATAWA SHOUJO!!! CONTAINS KATAWA SHOUJO SPOILERS I suppose you're right in that respect. Granted, given the childhood she was given where her own friends end up betraying her, I'd hate people as well. But given the general demeanor, you can't deny that a Fluttershy-esque voice is 'right' in most people's eyes. Of course, that's probably because My Little Pony has started to invade the rest of my life, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. >_> |
