Yes, I will say it. In fact I'd say it might be better. Lauren is great, but you guys, there's an entire fucking team of people who make this show happen. Acting like lauren's presence is what makes it good and the moment she walks out of the room all others involved become crap-throwing monkeys is unbelievably horrible. |

I like, see nooo reason to preemptively dislike this character or premise yet. She looks cute, Cadence and Shining Armor are cool names, and the story around them, their voices, personalities, etc. might be awesome, like so much else in this show has been. No reason to think otherwise -- Season 2's been incredible. Regardless of Hasbro's insistence on pink princess ponies to sway little girls into buying more toys, I very highly doubt this will alter the quality of the CARTOON we all love in any negative way. |

Of course Faust didn't make the show by herself, but she was the initial major creative driving force behind it, which is why everyone loves her so much. And don't think the other creative minds in charge don't get their due credit and admiration, because they do...
My beef is this: The whole show so far has revolved around the concept of two alicorns maintaining "balance for their kingdom and their subjects." Tossing in a third one from out of nowhere is like a proverbial stick in the tire. Who is she, where did she come from, what does she do, why the hell have we never seen this major demi-god before? It fucks up the harmony, yo, the harmony! D: |

It would only be a problem for me if she really was an alicorn god. This would make no sense compared to the rest of the show at all.
And it would indeed kill my enjoyment of the episode she appears in if there is no proper explanation for it. If there was suddenly a new god without any reasons, and everypony just acts as if it has always been like that, then it would be a major continuity error. I could only enjoy the little jokes that appear here and there, but not the show as a whole. |

@Nemns I think she thought the same - there was a comment about there only being two alicorns if it depended on her from her before.
I don't know what @Lium's going on about - apart from me loving S2, the writing and the animation staff is 99% the same. I don't really care though, even if it turned out that the characters are only there to sell the toys, it's going to be fun to watch. |

I gotta agree with Fuzzy Logic. Season 1 was great, but I actually do like Season 2 better. Faust... is a little too obsessed with Galaxy Girls to really put her all in with FiM, it was better she left actually.
Also wasn't pissed about about this third alicorn. For all we know, they may not even be 'demi-gods'. Just Luna and Celestia may be. |
