I always had the idea the pigs were used to get rid of the bad/bruised/mouldy apples the Apple family dont use. then , I dunno, maybe use the the pigs leavings as fertiliser. |

Pigs locate fungus and truffles. In return, they get a place to live. The sheep are used for wool, and the cows for milk.
