The end of the episode can easily be seen as two friends "trolling" three fillies who put them through a lot of trouble; and even if Cheerimac were canon, that wouldn't stop most Fluttermac shippers. Love and tolerate, live and let live, hakuna matata, and so forth. It starts with you, not with the other side. (And I don't care about either Fluttermac or Cheerimac, I'd just like people to stop trolling each other over it.) |

Uh, I've been saying this multiple times, but I don't see how this ep gets in the way of FS/BM shippers.

It's left ambiguous for a reason: people who like Fluttermac can say "they were just joking around with CMC and remain good friends" and Cheerimac people can say "They're soulmates meant to be together forever." Neither position is correct or wrong. |
