I think given the fact that "Hearts and Hooves"was leaked on the internet it's safe to state the obvious that it may have in fact just been an issue with piracy when coupled with the shitstorm in the fandom, made the whole problem seem a lot bigger than it actually was. |

With a fanbase this massive and relatively recent, I honestly wasn't that surprised.
Hell, any adult who's been with the Harry Potter fandom since its inception can probably tell you how the whole fanbase were briefly branded as pedos. Granted, a few were shipping characters before they were even in their 4th year, but it was mostly due to how 'unnatural' it was that SO MANY adults were obsessing over young children... Never mind that they were fictional and that many had gotten into the series through THEIR children. |
